TIPS
For maximum intensity:
Do multiple applications untildesired color is achieved, or apply to dry hair.
To achieve bold hues:
Use on pre-lightened blonde hair. If you are going to make a drastic color change- consult with a salon professional. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
For even coverage:
Use a comb when applying product to hair.
PAtch test
Precautions: With any dye, this product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use.
Select a small, discreet area such as behind the ear or in the inner fold of the elbow. Wash the test area with mild soap and water, then dry it with a clean towel. Apply a thin layer of any Color Lux product to the test area and allow it to dry. Leave the test area uncovered and undisturbed for 24 hours. After 24 hours, carefully examine the test area for any signs of irritation.
If you notice any irritation, do not use the product.
Strand test
1. If your patch test goes well, you can perform a strand test to test out color!
Take a small strand of the hair, usually in a more hidden part of your head
2. Leave the product on for 5-10 min.
3. Check if you like the color and saturation levels, leaving it on for different amounts of time depending on the intensity you are looking for.
