1. How do I use Direct Vibes?

Apply Direct Vibes on clean, dry hair. Process 30 minutes without heat,
then rinse with cool water.

2. What is the difference between the Color
Cleansing Conditioners VS Direct Vibes?

Color Cleansing Conditioners are buildable with each wash and are great for maintaining your Direct Vibes shade. Direct Vibes colors are semi-permanent hair colors, which have more pigment and last 4-8 weeks.

3. What color is best for me?

Choosing your Direct Vibes shade should depend on your starting hair color. If you have lighter blonde hair, you can use any of them! However, if you have darker hair, you will need to have your hair pre-lightened for the shades to deposit correctly.

Medium blonde or lighter hair is recommended for best results for all Direct Vibes colors. Direct Vibes will not lighten or lift your current hair color.

4. How long will this last in my hair? Is this a permanent color?

The amount of time a semi-permanent hair color will last is dependent on the condition and porosity of your hair. Generally you can expect to see these last in your hair 4-8 weeks depending on the shade. Washing with cold water and less frequently will ensure longer lasting color.

5. Do I need to mix with a developer?

Direct Vibes does not need to be mixed with any developer. Semi-permanent hair colors are not recommended to mix with developers.

6. Can I mix Color Cleansing Conditioners
and Direct Vibes?

You can mix any of the Direct Vibes shades for a fun new color, however, we recommend sticking to refreshing your hair with the Color Cleansing Conditioners vs mixing with the

Direct Vibes Colors.

7. Can I use Direct Vibes while pregnant?

Our products are vegan, gluten, sulfate and paraben free! We recommend consulting with your physician if you have any concerns with ingredients in our products.

8. Can I apply Direct Vibes on my pet?

No. We do not test on animals and do not recommend any Color Lux products to be used
on animals.

9. Will Direct Vibes work on my gray hair?

Direct Vibes has the ability to work on gray hair, however, this depends on your hair type. Coarse, resistant gray may not have any visible change.

10. I want to change my color, how do I remove Direct Vibes?

Using a clarifying shampoo will gradually fade out the color. A direct dye remover will remove the pigments from your hair quicker, but may require more than one application depending on your hair type.

11. How to do a PAtch test

Precautions: With any dye, this product may cause skin irritation on certain individuals. A preliminary patch and strand test should be performed before use.

Select a small, discreet area such as behind the ear or in the inner fold of the elbow. Wash the test area with mild soap and water, then dry it with a clean towel. Apply a thin layer of any Color Lux product to the test area and allow it to dry. Leave the test area uncovered and undisturbed for 24 hours. After 24 hours, carefully examine the test area for any signs of irritation.

If you notice any irritation, do not use the product.

12. How to do a Strand test

1. If your patch test goes well, you can perform a strand test to test out color!
Take a small strand of the hair, usually in a more hidden part of your head

2. Leave the product on for 5-10 min.

3. Check if you like the color and saturation levels, leaving it on for different amounts of time depending on the intensity you are looking for.
